She received her training from Sri Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavathar and Sri Chowdiah. She has earned respect as a performer, composer, and a leader of the Jayamangala School of Music and Dance, MD. She has released 2 classical carnatic audio tapes and composes numerous songs. She has extensiveley in India and the US. She is the recepient of the 'Best Teacher Award' from Cleveland Aradhana in 2008. She presently teaches Indian classical Violin and Veena at the JAYAMANGALA School of Music and Dance in the MD, USA.
