Aishwarya Subramanian hails from the artistic family of Jayamangala School of Music and Dance. She has been learning Bharatanatyam and Carnatic Music from a very young age from her mother-guru Shobha Subramanian and grandmother Jaya Bala, respectively. She completed her Bharatanatyam Arangetram in June 2010 and has performed at various events and festivals in the US, UK, Mexico, India, and Africa. She has enhanced her talents in music and dance during workshops with visiting gurus from India, such as Maneesha Sathe, Narendra and Anusha Kumar, R. Vedavalli, Dhananjayans, Late Professor T.R. Subramaniam, Priyadarshini Govind, R. Ramamurthy, The Kirans, M. Venkata Krishnan, and N. Srikanth. Having been a member of the award-winning Indian Classical Dance Team at University of Maryland called Moksha, she has honed her skills in performance, teaching, and choreography through Jayamangala School of Music and Dance. Aishwarya is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and Expressive Arts Therapy at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco.
